Brittany + Trevor’s Redwoods Elopement
Brittany and Trevor chose the wild, windswept shores of the Oregon Coast and the serene redwoods of Northern California for their intimate elopement, surrounded by their best friends, closest family, and beloved dogs and kids. Byrdies Beach House at Crook Point served as their home base, a stunning coastal property perched above the Pacific Ocean, offering sweeping views and cozy accommodations for all.
a quiet morning on the coast to begin their elopement day
Their elopement day began with a peaceful morning; as Brittany and Trevor prepared, their kids and pups played in the yard, embodying the calm before the day’s joyful celebrations. The excitement built quietly as they finalized the details and shared the day’s itinerary with their loved ones. Choosing to have their first look in private, they met atop the grassy bluffs overlooking the Oregon Coast. There, embraced by a strong ocean breeze and the beauty of nature, they exchanged vows. Despite the wild winds, their spirits remained high and unwavering.
Family Elopement Ceremony amongst the Redwoods
The adventure continued as the group caravanned down scenic Highway 101 to the iconic redwoods of Northern California. A tranquil walk along a short trail in Jedediah Smith State Park led them to the perfect grove for their ceremony, where a few sprinkles of rain added to the charm. The intimacy of the setting highlighted the beauty and simplicity of choosing to elope.
Embracing the adventure of Eloping
Despite a slight shift in plans — when their original lunch spot was unexpectedly closed — the day’s spirit of adventure never waned. The group quickly embraced the change, opting for a pizza party back at their Airbnb and Brittany and Trevor made a quick pit stop at the Casino on their way back. Parading into a Casino on the California Coast in full wedding attire, sure turns some heads and had us a few laughs! This spontaneous twist added to the day’s charm, proving that the best celebrations are those that adapt and flow with the unexpected joys of life.
Crafted in just three weeks, Brittany and Trevor’s redwoods elopement is a testament to the joy of embracing the moment, surrounded by nature and loved ones. Their story isn’t just about a day, but about the unforgettable journey that unfolds when you choose to elope.
