- Winter (November–February) is quiet and peaceful, with snow in the Sierras. The daytime temps can still be pleasant in the 50s but the nights are cold. You’ll probably want to stay in town!
- Summer (July–August) you can expect heat during the day, with temperatures often reaching the high 90s. Early mornings and evenings are more comfortable for exploring and your ceremony/photos.

Do I need a 4×4 vehicle to drive in Alabama Hills?
Not necessarily, but some dirt roads can get rough. A high-clearance vehicle is highly recommended!
Can I camp anywhere on the BLM Land in Alabama Hills?

Bishop is a 1 hour drive North if you are really in a pinch and need a regular grocery store or more options.
