Nestled into winding roads of Soquel, just outside Santa Cruz, Rancho Soquel is the cutest little estate for a wedding, with it’s Spanish architecture influence, all the greenery + the cutest little barn. Perfect for a summer evening wedding, being a part of a friends wedding is just so special, especially because I get to hang out with them all day, and give them this gift of something that mean so much to me. Corey + Caitlin, Santa Cruz locals, kept things close to home for their celebration, which really rings true to who they are. Family being very important. Caitlin really wanted a garden location for their engagement session, that fell inline with their stunning venue they picked out, UC Santa Cruz Arboretum was the perfect spot, even in the middle of winter. Followed by playing in fields off Highway 1. C+C became even better friends of mine through out their wedding planning. It was so special to be apart of their day. Getting ready with her girls on property, she shared a quiet start to the day, once the guys arrived + everyone was ready. I had savannah alongside of me all day, and we got the two of them into place, without seeing each other, so they could share a few minutes together. Seeing each other for the first time at the ceremony was super important, but they still wanted this bit of quiet time just the two of them.. Under the most stunning arbor of florals created by Ashley of Tarnish + Bloom said I do with their best of friends standing beside them. Out on the lawn, with the stunning rustic barn as the backdrop, they shared dinner + many heartfelt speeches from lifelong friends, that brought tears to everyone. Their group really rbought it on the dance floor, and was such a fun evening to finish out the day!
