October on the coast is my favorite, Deidre + Jordan chose the perfect time of year to visit + Elope! Just two weeks after Jordan popped the question they traveled out from Nashville for a roadtrip from LA to Northern California. Many stops through out the week including a wedding for dear friends + the two of them saying I do!
From my first chat with Deidre, I knew she had been dreaming of this day for years, she had finally found her other half and was just so ready to being this journey together. Hence the quick elopement planning! Deidre wrote in her blog “I am a typical girl in some ways. I wanted to find a stunning location, an incredible photographer, the perfect white dress, write our own vows and do a first look. Even with less than two weeks to plan this thing, we did stick to those traditional wedding practices and I’m so glad we did.” They booked a room at the Timber Cove Resort, and picked out a spot together a few days prior when they were passing through on their way up North. Deidre found her wedding dress for FOURTEEN DOLLARS, and they kept their attire a secret so they could have a first look!
Their rad friend Mikaelaa who was already ordained offered to officiate their ceremony just the day after her very own wedding! Her new hubby, Matt, was in attendance as her plus one/Deidre’s + Jordan’s only guest and second witness! What great friends they are!
After all the official business was done, Mikaelaa + Matt took off down Highway One while the three of us took some time for portraits, and taking in the grand views of the Pacific.
